Dalee Sambo Dorough

Dalee Sambo Dorough, Ph.D., has been at the forefront of international issues of indigenous people for decades. She is the chairperson of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Populations. She is a human rights advisor and member of the Inuit Circumpolar Council Committee on UN issues. She also works as an associate professor at the University of Alaska. She received her PhD in law, from the University of British Columbia.
