Anthony Dworkin is a senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations think tank, leading ECFR’s work on human rights, democracy and justice. He has written papers for ECFR on human rights and counterterrorism, on the place of human rights in EU foreign policy, and on the pro-democracy revolutions in North Africa. His current research projects concern the prospects for pluralism in the Arab transitions and the place of international justice in responding to situations of conflict and mass atrocities. He was formerly the executive director of the Crimes of War Project and editor of the book Crimes of War: What the Public Should Know (Norton, 2007). He is a contributing editor of the British journal Prospect and writes frequently in the media on human rights topics
